Consensus is building FAST ---> Train Hillary has jumped the tracks.
Hillary got such a bump from Ohio that even I took a second look at her: I said, "Man, that woman is a fighter."
Then she encouraged Americans to elect Republican McCain over our Democratic front runner. Her remark was carefully calculated, and she repeated it four times in four venues.
"I have a lifetime of experience that I will bring to the White House. I know Senator McCain has a lifetime of experience that he will bring to the White House. And Senator Obama has a speech he gave in 2002."Here's video of all four repetitions so you can get the feel of this for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMVOT-IH8sg
Many of her most ardent supporters are shocked, and momentarily paralyzed as the enormity of what their candidate has done sinks in. Her tone of disparagement, "...Obama has a speech...", by itself was enough to make the entire Democratic Party blanch. Did her "experience" teach her to behave this way? Certainly she has experience enough to have known that she was crossing the line.
Over the past two days many leading progressive commentators have moved off of the neutrality they've tried to maintain to date: Kieth Olberman, Arianna Huffington, Richard Wolf and Dana Millbank, Randi Rhodes, Ed Schultz, Rachael Maddow, Thom Hartmann, Stephanie Miller have all spoken out on this. Gary Hart wrote a article for the Huffington Post entitled "Breaking the Final Rule": http://www.huffingtonpost.com/gary-hart/breaking-the-final-rule_b_90420.html Hart's piece was reposted on the very high-traffic DemocraticUnderground forum, a bastion of Clinton supporters, where it recieved more views, comments, and recommendations than any post I've ever seen there. It appears that Hillary has far fewer defenders than she did even just a few hours ago.
Hillary's catastrophic misstep here exemplifies Obama's argument that good judgment matters more than experience.
I know who I want to answer that 3am phone call.

While I can sort of buy her claim that she was trying to say that Obama would have a harder time with McCain than her (while demeaning Obama on the side), these broken-record statements are just out-of-control. How can she in her right mind discredit his entire political career while thinking her extremely limited political career will stand up to her own standards? You're right--this one definitely cements her psychological issues.
As his guest commented in the Olbermann interview referring to Hillary's comment that only she and McCain were qualified to be CIC..."That's the kind of comment that someone would make when they want to be McCain's VP.."
Confirmed. I've been saying this forever. Hillary Clinton started her political career as a REPUBLICAN, has join the Dems only as a stepping stone with which she will try to ride her husband's Popularity and Experience Coattails into power, will destroy the Democratic Party's possibilities this year, and would eagerly jump ship (and back to her GOP origins) in order to accept being McCain's running mate... hoping, no doubt, that his age and health will soon put her into the position of President that she can't seem to obtain any other way. This woman is dangerous. Psychotic. Evil. Red phones at 3 am? I wouldn't even let her answer my cell when my mother is calling.
the guest with Olbermann was Racheal Maddow
There is no way the establishment will let Oboma win. Protest as much as you like.
Who the heck is Oboma? Come on man, these are the freaking Presidential candidates...at least spell their names right!
Obama will turn this around on her. He will certainly spin this as a judgment issue. Even if you believe she has the experience, she continues to exercise poor judgment.
Obama is a phony. A pretender for the throne. He cares only for his own political aspirations and not his constituents. If you can handle the truth about Barack read this article:
http://dallasobserver.com/2008-02-28/news/obama-and-me/print
Actually anonymous, he does care for his constituents, otherwise he'd be out of politics and working injury cases for some law firm. Instead, he chose to become a politician. After receiving his law degree from Harvard, Obama returned to Chicago and worked as an attorney representing community organizers, discrimination claims, and voting rights cases. He could have just as easily taken a job working for evil, similar to John Edwards.
The reason why Hillary is up and dressed at 3:00 AM to answer the phone, is that she is waiting for Bill to come home.
@Anonymous:
The thesis of the article is not that Obama is phony. It is meant only to point out that he isn't the Messiah that the media has made him out to be. (Something that Obama himself hasn't claimed) The author admits several times that he admires the man. I'm not a dEMOCRAT; however, if the race were based only a candidates genuineness BHO (Barack Hussien Obama) would be the clear winner.
Gee, for saying and doing any and everything, whenever and wherever she wants, Hillary Clinton has met with unparalleled success throughout her political career (except maybe for her secretive but audacious health care bid). Hillary's actions just never seem to meet with consequences. And nobody knows more than this Saul Alinskyite that you have to crack some eggs to advance an agenda; the individual, unless of course it’s Hillary herself, simply doesn’t matter. In case one wonders what happened to the traditional Democratic Party, look no further: http://theseedsof9-11.com
SHAME ON YOU HILLARY.
She would rather burn Obama and let a Republican win the white house than lose. This cvnt cares jack about this country.
This just proves that the core of Republicans and Democrats are close friends, or as sometimes credited, "Republocrats".
It sure is not easy to break this wall of corruption away.
Obama might make a small change, but Clinton and McCain are close allies and represent The Establishment per excellence.
Hillary is a monster and she will do anything to get in power...If she dont win it looks she would rather give the presidency to the republican...Hillary is bad news for the democrat....http://realbigsource.com/forum/showthread.php?t=38
experience means nothing. You can do your work for 30 years poorly.
Here's the video of Maddow & Olbermann talking about this.
There's a reason why "train Hillary has jumped the tracks": It's just Hillary being Hillary:
http://tinyurl.com/yomb7m
Somebody needs to tell her that there is no way in hell she will live in the White House again under ANY scenario.
By doing this Hillary is making it easier for McCain to win because I will not support her. Does she think by doing this she can rely on the black vote come November. And now her and Bill are thinking of "taking" Obama under their wings and have him for VP? WTF? He is winning why would he cave into this.
She is disgusting and shameless. She would destroy the party to get the nomination, how could she possibly be a president who brings people together and solves global issues when she can't even get along with people who think almost exactly like her?
I don't need anymore presidents who think they are always right no matter what, thanks though...
Please keep in mind Hillary was a republican before she was a democrat at least she has very right leaning beliefs. 4 years ago she would've been a shoe in but now people are tired of the Republicans.
Do not fear my friends! Obama will be our next great president. There is no stopping our man! Barack Hussein Obama for president!! Praise be Allah.
Like so many of Hussein's supporters, we in the Muslim community will work hard and ensure that Obama is elected. It is the will of Allah, praised be His Name. Only with a strong leader in the US, can good relations be established with the Muslim world. With Obama in charge, Islam will become greatly tolerated in America and there will be peace. It is the first and important step in converting our great country into an Islamic state.
Most absurd statement ever on a blog:
" Over the past two days many leading progressive commentators have moved off of the neutrality they've tried to maintain to date: Kieth Olberman, Arianna Huffington, Richard Wolf and Dana Millbank, Randi Rhodes, Ed Schultz, Rachael Maddow, Thom Hartmann, Stephanie Miller have all spoken out on this."
These people have NOT been neutral. You should lay off the Kool-Aid for a day.
For those of us in the military while Clinton was president, we really have to wonder how stupid democrats must be to believe that Clinton is pro-peace.
Look at the trail of lies that led us into Yugoslavia and the current mess unfolding there. And lefties are stupid enough to say "When Clinton lied, nobody died." The real irony is that these are the same people who complain how uninformed America is about international events.
If Clinton could distance herself from her husband's foreign policy, I would give her a chance, but until then, anyone involved with the Clintons is tainted. Democrats obviously don't mind having innocent people getting killed as long as the economy is booming and we are talking about how tolerant we are.
Democrats are useless. Is i really a shock to see yourselves in full view like Hilary?
Hillary has not laid a glove on Obama yet. Wait till the general election and all the right wingers will have dozens of "-boaters" hounding him. If Obama wants to go all the way he and particularly his supporters need to develop a thick skin. These supporters also need to help develop strategies to repel "ad-hominum" attacks. So start working and stop fawning over this "rock star."
